Peugeot sports will withdraw from the world cross-country Championships at the end of the 2018 season, and the manufacturer has confirmed.
Uncertainty about the future of this series of electrification, coupled with Peugeot’s own concerns about electrification, led to the withdrawal of the fleet.
Mark followed Audi out of the series, ending his involvement with Matias’namesake team at the end of the season. Double exit means that only Volkswagen manufacturers still exist.
Peugeot recently unveiled an electronic legend at the Paris Motor Show and promised to provide its customers with a range of high-performance, low-emission electric sports cars starting in 2020. Peugeot sports will play an important role in the development of automobiles.
Recently, the World Cross-Country Championships announced that it would postpone the switch to electrification until 2021, which Peugeot said was out of line with its brand’s electrification schedule.

Peugeot Chief Executive Jean-Philippe Imparato announced on Twitter: “After demonstrating a new generation of plug-in hybrid cars as part of the electrification strategy at the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot announced the development of a series of new electrified sports cars starting in 2020.
“Peugeot will concentrate its resources on developing these new cars, so it has decided to quit the WRX championship at the end of the 2008 season, and the electrification of the season is uncertain.”
Peugeot extended its cooperation with Hansen Motorsport in 2018 to all the efforts of the factory.
