This beautiful 1940 Packard Super Eight 160 Sedan will be sold in our Detroit MI showroom. Before 1939 packard decided to build a shorter wheelbase than packard. This gave packard a good position in 1940 and was a very representative model. In 1940, the 160 engine was powered by an L head straight 8356 CID engine, which outputs 160 horsepower at 3300 RPM and USES an aluminum piston cast iron head Stromberg carburetor and Autolite ignition device. The packard is in good condition and is a fantastic driver with the potential to be a mint. The black paint on the vehicle seems to have been completed in the last 10 years, and it has performed very well on the big fender packard. The exterior of the car is well matched to the interior of the car inside the red fabric and is in a good original state. The Packard was powered by a straight 8-cylinder motor, and then switched gears on the tree’s manual gearbox to open the road. The 1940 packard 160 is a great 40-inch classic that can be enjoyed for years.
